Circus Sarasota’s “Bello Mania”

Filed under Community Events, Southeast Destinations

From now through February 26, your entire family may enjoy an affordable, exciting and fun-filled evening at Circus Sarasota’s “Bello Mania” right here in Sarasota, the circus capital of the world.  Featured is our native Sarasotan, world famous clown Bello Nock, who is a 7th generation circus performer and the youngest person to be inducted into the “Circus Ring of Fame” in 2009.  As usual, he did not disappoint with his humor and daredevil acts which even included some crowd participation.  This years’s circus also features a series of amazing artists and performers including a dressage horse act, a hula hoop act, an acrobatic group, the comedy dogs and the aerialists.  The Hungarian strongman Encho Keryazov may have stolen the show on opening night with his amazing hand balancing act when he received a standing ovation.

Any of you wary about attending a circus because of animal cruelty, you may rest assured that is not the case with Circus Sarasota.  Heidi Herriott who performs with her gorgeous white dressage horse is an animal activist, and all of the Muttsville Comix are rescue dogs.  Their tails were all wagging!  So please come join in the fun.
