Storm Castle Peak

Storm Castle Peak is an awesome climb of 2,300 feet in 3 miles. This rocky peak stands above the valley floor

at 7,170 feet, offering stunning views of Gallatin Canyon.  The hike up through meadows of floors and thick forest

offers sweeping 360 degree views.   Some of the other Mountain Ranges and views from this hike are The Spanish Peaks,

Granet Mountain, Hyalite Divide, Storm Castle Creek Canyon, and the Hell Roaring Drainage.

To get to the trail head from 4 corners, take Highway 191 south into the Gallatin Valley for 16.7 miles to Storm Castle Road,

turn Left and curve to the right for 1.9 miles. The trail head is on the left.  From there continue on hiking boot to some of the most

beautiful views.
